The Shy Image is a four-part room installation. The positions of each installation part are the same up to the picture shown. Each screen is a smartphone with a built-in camera. On this small computer runs a program developed especially for this purpose, which is able to recognize and analyze faces. And this is where the differences between the works come out: each work can be viewed differently.
The shy picture cannot be viewed at all as soon as the viewer turns his face towards it. Perhaps looking from a distance through binoculars or through the fingers, the viewer has to accept the idiosyncrasy of the picture here.
I reserve the other two works in this installation for myself in this formulation.
The dimensions of one work are 16 cm x 8 cm.
